    Well i would assume you realize blind spots. There will be alot more of them. Other than that you might have to learn to use the mirrors a little more but it should be basically the same. You just have to understand its probably a little wider than your car and its deffinatly longer. You should be fine though. Good Luck!

    Mini Vans are not hard to drive. You can not corner as fast because of the height but then again your in a minivan not a sports car. From the vans I have driven my Caravan does not drive any different thatn a car. When i had my Montana it was a little different since it was bigger and the Chasis seemed more like a truck chasis than a car chasis.

    if u can drive a car u can drive a mini-van.like eveyone says,the differance is the size and handling.pretty much if you give it an hour or two just gettin the feel for it,youll do just fine.one thing perhaps someone forgot to mention is that the van will have a bigger gas tank which means youre gonna need lots of green for that long trip.But one good thing is that its a van and everyone you ride with will be there to keep you company….

    You may not be aware of this but minivans are built on car platforms. The manufacturers just put a box on it instead of a sedan body. They have larger mirrors so side view is no problem. They are a few inches longer (sometimes) and parallel parking is more difficult (limited rear view) but easily overcome with a few practise sessions. And nearly every van manufactured for the North American market is an automatic.
    examples;
    Nissan Quest - Altima based
    Honda Odyssey - Accord based
    Toyota Sienna - Camry based
    And my favourite the Dodge Caravan can trace its roots back to the K-cars.

    In fact, I’ve driven a minivan and it is not so difficult, just practice and good estimation(especially reversing). Same like driving a pickup lorry/SUV/MPV. Maybe the one you should only start to worry is if you’re driving a lorry, a bus or an articulated lorry (so-called 18-wheeler in the New World).
