Every 3000 miles get it serviced. Sometimes it might be costly, but it will help your car last for 100,000 miles or more

it should be in the manuals that came with the car

Well, you can purchase the Chilton’s or Haynes service manual on your car. As for how things work, try Googling information on the automobile internal combustion engine, etc.

most important thing about maintaining a new car- observe the “break in” period - no revving the motor too hard, no sudden stops or starts. Another thing to do is change your motor oil religiously.

experience is the best teacher. but to make a short answer. you have to change your oil every 3000 miles, forget what other people say. Secondly. Make sure all your fluids are maintained, and your three filters, gas, oil and air.

It will take you awhile to learn it all. Go to webcrawler and punch in car maintence or soemthing and just read about cars.

The most important fluids are your oil, tranny and rear end. ( and brake for obvious reasons)

    Welcome to the driving world.
