Yes they can drive your car. Now as to their insurance you need to be aware of what yours and their insurance state who can be the driver. I had a problem where my insurance only covered me while I was operating my car and I was operating my daughters car got distracted and had an accident. Turned out they only had coverage for them and I was not aware of my situation, ended up costing me big bucks, and I thought that I was covered.
Never can be to careful!!
